31 Weeks
Still feels a little surreal that I have only 9 weeks to go! Tomorrow will be two months datewise until the baby's due date. So very odd since I don't feel like I should be a mere two months away from the due date. I have finally put on some weight suddenly and a little more then I would have liked. I had been staying the same for a couple weeks then last week crept up a pound now this week I went up three more pounds! I'm trying to slow down by eating healthier but that's tricky this time of year with so many sweets tempting me. So I'm giving in but trying to be careful about it and not overdo it. I figure in the week I have off after Christmas I can use that time to exercise and eat right. And get stuff ready for the baby! I'm so happy to have a break from work since its been busy and it'll be nice to be able to relax. I'm sure I'll be bored out of my mind by the end of the week though. Such a switch from this week when we're almost pulling out our hair with how crazy it is getting everything ready for Christmas. We're having fourteen people over on Christmas day and still have a lot to get done!

30 Weeks
Once again I'm amazed at how far along I am now. I'm 3/4 through with this pregnancy! That just doesn't seem right. Although I am really excited to meet my little guy. This past week I've finally seemed to figure out how to gain some more weight after the last couple weeks having lingered at the same weight. I'm eating more (mostly healthy stuff) and that's been making a big difference. And its showed since a pair of my maternity pants are now getting tight (although they were always on the smaller side and fit back when I wasn't even showing).
Right now life is crazy with trying to get ready for Christmas and work is hectic since I'm off the week after Christmas. So baby stuff has been a bit on the back burner now that a few big things like the crib are assembled. We decorated the tree last night and I'm including a picture of BF and me.

29 Weeks
It's starting to all seem so very close! This past week I was very lazy and didn't get out to exercise. Tonight I was going to but I needed to go to Wal-Mart and buy a new bra since mine are getting painfully tight (probably should have done this before it got uncomfortable). And after dealing with all that and trying on an absurd number to figure out the right size I just didn't feel like going to the Y. I figure I can go on Sunday while BF is at the game.
This week a lot has been accomplished for the little one. Kermit now has a nursery with furniture!! We have a dresser, infant crib and regular crib all assembled/fixed thanks to BF being very industrious on Sunday. I've also washed the car seat cover, bouncy seat cover and Baby Bjorn so that they're nice and clean for him. Right now I'm washing the infant head thingy that goes with the car seat. Oh and I washed a sheet for the infant crib so that's all ready. Right now his room looks packed with everything for him inside of it but soon we'll move the infant crib into our room and add the rocker to his. I'm not sure where they bouncy seat will go but probably not in his room (maybe downstairs?).
Having a nursery that mostly ready is making everything seem so much closer! I can't believe I'm only 11 weeks away from my due date. I am really getting excited to meet the little fellow. This past week I was getting worried since I wasn't gaining weight and actually went down a little bit. But I've started gaining again and in the past couple days have gone up a pound. I'm happy about that since I was starting to worry. I am making an effort to eat more (mostly more healthy stuff...mostly) since I need more calories during the third trimester and watching my weight decline worried me a little bit (I didn't loose much just half a pound total and I quickly have put that back on).
In other getting ready for Kermit news we have daycare worked out and sign the contract on Friday. It's with our neighbor and going to be $200 a week. I'm SO happy to have that taken care of since I was starting to worry. Best of all she's willing to use cloth diapers with our little guy. I also got a name of a pediatrician from her and they're covered under our insurance. I called them and left a message on Monday. So lots of getting ready going on. We also have curtains from my mother-in-law (our gift from last Christmas) and they're REALLy, REALLY pretty looking. And give our house a more finished feel. I suppose after living here over a year and a half it was time to have curtains.

28 Weeks
I'm in the third trimester now! It's hard to believe how little time is left until the baby will be here. We're really starting to get things together now and have a dresser in the bedroom, the rocker and tomorrow (supposedly) BF is going to put the crib together. He would have done it last week but got sick with a sinus infection. So tomorrow he's putting together both the regular crib and the tiny one that will go in our room. I started working on a scrapbook for him and already have two pages finished. I also made some pages that I can just add pictures to when the time comes. Everything has been going really good. Sure my back hurts sometimes and he can get into some uncomfortable positions but I'm having such an easy pregnancy. I only hope it stays this good.

27 Weeks
There is less then three months till the little guy gets here. How weird and scary is that fact! I can't get over how quickly my pregnancy has gone by so far but am assured it slows down in the third trimester. But I always feel like December goes by in a blur of activity.
I had my glucose test (1 hour) on Monday. I felt pretty sick to my stomach and kind of dizzy but otherwise it went fine and I hope the results are good. I avoided eating too much sugar beforehand since I really don't want gestational diabetes. I also found out some fun things about insurance companies like that they can go back and charge you for services they already covered if you don't deliver with them. My work is switching so I don't really have a choice. I need to talk to the new company and see if they'll pick up the new charges that my old insurance company is going to stick us with.
We're making a really yummy gluten-free apple pie (well pies since we're making three) for tomorrow. The recipe is here: http://www.recipezaar.com/Awesome-Gluten-Free-Apple-Pie-With-Crumble-Topping-105376. We already test drove it and it was awesome just like the name! Of course by we making it I mean BF is doing all the cooking and I'll help clean up and read the recipe. We already made the dough for the pie crust and tonight we're going to make the filling so tomorrow all we'll have to do is the crumbly topping.
I'm really excited for Thanksgiving! Lots of good food and time with my in-laws. It should be lots of fun. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

26 Weeks
Another week has flown by! I'm almost down to three more months until the baby comes! We set up our registry on Sunday. It was somewhat fun picking things out but the feeding stuff was a little overwhelming (How many bottles do we need? What accessories do I need for the breast pump?). But we've now picked out all the major items we need and just need to go back and add some small things. I really do enjoy looking a baby things! I can't wait to be looking at our little baby in a few months time.
My stomach has popped out more this week. I finally look definitely pregnant and not just fat. People are starting to notice too. So far everyone has been nice and no strangers (thankfully) have touched my belly or anything. I'm really trying to watch my weight gain but its tough to be good and not snack too. Recently I've really been into eating baked goods (cookies, brownies, pies) that aren't necessarily good for me. I'm trying to limit them but its difficult sometimes.
Kermit has been moving more this week. He sometimes is active during the day too now not just at night although that's still his big active time. And on Monday when he wedged his foot with my ribs it was kind of cute especially once he unwedged it and I wasn't uncomfortable anymore. Still hope he doesn't do that again but I know that would be a bit too wishful thinking.
Next Monday I have my prenatal appointment and diabetes test. I'm not looking forward to that much since I have to wait around for an hour and drink something that I've heard is nastily sweet. But then on Thursday its Thanksgiving and luckily they won't have the test results by then (I hope) so I can enjoy all the yummy food my mother-in-law will be cooking.

Move Your Foot
At least I think its his foot. Kermit has had his foot wedged right around my ribs in a way that has been uncomfortable and somewhat painful. Whenever BF or I try to give him little pushes to move it he starts kicking like crazy.
